We’ve just found a great trick with Office 2010. It’s the ability to recover unsaved documents. Just occasionally, you might accidently close a document without saving it. It seems I tend to do this when I’m up against a deadline!
Great news – with Office 2010, you can get the file back. Simply drop into the File menu, click on Info then press the Manage Versions button.
From the menu, select Recover Unsaved Documents. A window will display your unsaved files, simply click on the one you want to recover.
